Well, after my last post, it was going to be hard to top that day at the Reagan Library. But we did still have a great time at Disneyland, especially for my friend, who has not ever been there before. It made it funner for me too, to see someone else enjoying the experience for the first time. I felt like a kid again in that way. We went on all the best rides, Space Mountain of course, Pirates of the Caribbean, the "Submarine" ride, Haunted Mansion, and lots more. By the end of the day, we were fully exhausted, but satisfied and happy. I got a little too much sun despite wearing sunscreen, but not too bad, and it tanned out after a day or so.
I will post more soon about the rest of our trip so far, which has been amazing! But for this post, will just put up some pictures from our last day in LA.

David's first time to Disney, and both our first times to Disneyland in California! |
A tradition, we must photograph David with a post office box in honor of his trade whenever found in an exotic location... |
Obligatory "Castle" shot |
My eternal favorite of all the "lands"... Tomorrowland! |
David rode Space Mountain with me despite not liking roller coasters. It was awesome! |
Lines were short everywhere, about 10 minutes waiting on even popular rides. |
We liked the talking animatronic parrot in line for Pirates of the Caribbean. |
Just about to board the boat for Pirates! |
Had to capture this shot in "It's a Small World" ride, the "happiest cruise that ever sailed around the world", in honor of our trip of course! |

Funny hippo in "Small World" |

The Submarine ride is cool, but trust me, the actual Great Barrier Reef turned out to be even cooler! It was a lot of fun seeing the underwater ride though, and a tantalizing foretaste of what we would soon see in person. |

We actually enjoyed driving through "famous LA traffic", just for the experience of it. It was actually not that bad, and our Windows Phone guided us perfectly even through numerous highway interchanges. |
Good to know you are having a great time :) Enjoy the rest of it and all the best for a safe and happy trip around the World
